Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce 2021-2022 Annual Report

The Chamber’s Annual Report showcases the preceding year’s accomplishments. It highlights the impact the Chamber’s programs and initiatives have had on the Nashville region. I authored the copy for this annual report, which was recognized for outstanding marketing and communications work through ACCE's Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE) program. ACE submissions are reviewed by volunteer judges—peers from the ACCE community—who select a limited number of entries to be named as award winners.

Beat the Chill

I wrote this article during my internship for New Canaan Darien Magazine to appear on their website. The concept of the article was to give ideas to families in Fairfield County, Connecticut to stay active during the long New England winter. This was my first experience writing professional content for the web and I enjoyed all parts of the process: researching, writing, and editing.

Cuisine for the Clan

This was the second article I wrote for New Canaan Darien Magazine's website. The article serves as a guide to local parents looking for family-friendly restaurants in Fairfield County. The process was very similar - research, write, edit - but as a foodie who reads menus online for fun, this article was especially enjoyable for me.

Stellar Views Near Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore

I wrote this "listicle" for the Awesome Mitten, an online publication promoting tourism in Michigan. Serving as a sort of guide to the Great Lakes state, it serves to cultivate a fresh perspective on Michigan by engaging local communities, businesses, and people. I combined my knowledge of the area where I spend my summers with research to compile a list of the best Lake Michigan views in western Leelanau County, Michigan. I was also able to feature some of my original photography in this article.
